Description

Take better pictures for the rest of your life after this fun, social and hands-on photography workshop.

Melbourne photographer/journalist Murray Johnson shares his top 10 tips and tricks to make you a better photographer.

This half-day session starts with a colorful Powerpoint presentation illustrating our "top 10" photo secrets with stunning images. Then we go cruising around Melbourne on bicycles, practising what we've learnt by taking photos in great locations with digital cameras (bring your own). Film cameras can be used too, but you won't get the instant feedback on your work! The practical excursion can be done on foot or trams for groups who prefer not to cycle.

Forget the six-week night school course costing hundreds of dollars. Get out of the stuffy classroom, get the wind in your hair on a bike, and have fun while you learn about cameras, composition, light and more while meeting and swapping notes with other photographers. We don't just tell you how to be a better photographer. We show you – in small, personalised classes with plenty of one-on-one help tailored to your specific needs.

Learning is healthy, sociable, fun and easy – with Real Melbourne Photography Workshops. Workshops start from Rentabike @ Federation Square in the heart of Melbourne. This comprehensive photography "crash course" is ideal for anyone who's just "gone digital" or bought a new camera and is coming to terms with it, if you're heading overseas and want to take better pictures, or if you want something completely different for a gift, staff reward or team building program.

This great activity is suitable for beginners and intermediate photographers. Even experienced snappers might learn something or get a different perspective from Murray's 30 years of news, family, travel and wedding photography.

There are plenty of opportunities to ask questions and get exactly what you want from the experience. It's the perfect group activity or affordable staff reward/incentive for anyone who does photography in the course of their work – like the real estate industry. School and other groups can also be catered for. Private workshops are available too.

Workshops run year-round. So what are you waiting for?
