Fly sky high above the Mornington Peninsula with Oz Parasail. Our custom built Marine safety Victoria Approved Parasail winch boat can take you and your family out on Port Phillip Bay for a view and a ride that is guaranteed to be the highlight of your summer.

Melbourne Parasailing
Oz Parasail is the only parasailing operation in Melbourne. Our charters start at the Dromana and Rye piers and can last up to one hour depending on how many participants are on board. Up to ten Participants or Passengers a welcome aboard the vessel for each charter. Every Parasail ride starts from the boat as opposed to beach take offs, and everyone lands safely back on the boat as opposed to beach or water landings, but don’t worry if you want too get wet there is always the option to get dipped in the water during you ride.

Included In Price

Oz parasail offers single, tandem and triple parasail experiences. With the growth in popularity and the development of a larger and more stable ascending parachute we can now not only offer a parasail experience of two people at once (tandem) but three people at a time (triples). Remember Parasailing is very weather and wind dependant, Different conditions can restrict us as to how much weight we can lift at one time so if you have any doubts give us a call before you head down to see us and check on the conditions.

Participant Guidelines

Minimum weight is usually around 120lbs or 55kgs. Maximum weight is can be up to 450lds or 200kgs this can change hourly depending on the weather conditions and the strength of the wind.
We have harness that are designed to fit ages 4 up to 94.
The length of the rope will determine how high you go. You have two choices, either 100m of rope making you 50 meters above the water or 200m putting you up to 100meters above Port Phillip Bay.

1 person -Tandem requires min 2 people booking- Triple requires min 3 people booking

Booking Notes

Family and friends (viewers are welcome for a fee and if there is enough room on the boat)
Swim suits/ shorts and towels (If you intend to get a dip)

Sunscreen
Camera/waterproof camera if you intend to take it with you on the ride (Oz Parasail does offer photo’s but you are more than welcome to bring your own)

Session Length

up to 1 hour on the boat depending on how many people booking - approx. 10 minutes in the air
