Description
Fly solo from a small training hill or fly a tandem from a 1500ft mountain!
A typical one day course would go as follows:
9am: Meet at the Active Flight Paragliding office (unless alternate arrangements are made) for administration and equipment familiarisation
10am: Travel to training site (approxiametly 10 minutes drive)
Learn how to inflate, control and land a paraglider (generally referred to as ground handling)
1pm: Break for lunch
Depending on weather conditions and group preferance, the afternoon will consist of a couple of small flights from a 100ft training hill or a tandem flight with an Instructor. During the tandem paraglide the students will be flying the paraglider.
Flight debrief and issuance of flight certificate.

Participant Guidelines
You must be 15 years or older to participate in this experience and weigh less than 130kg.
Price Valid For
The price quoted is for one person. You will be with your paragliding pilot on the day of your experience. We can cater for groups of 2 - 10 people.
Booking Notes
Minimum group size of 2.
You will need to sign a waiver prior to participating in this experience. As a requirement of this experience, you will also be signed up as a trainee member of the Hang Gliding Federation of Australia.
A fee of $20 is payable to the Hang Gliding Federation of Australia training membership. This is to be paid on the day.

The price quoted is for one person. You will be with your paragliding pilot on the day of your experience. We can cater for groups up to 20 people.
Weather Exceptions
This experience may be affected by the weather. Please contact the supplier two days prior to your flight to check weather conditions. In the event of unsuitable conditions, your experience will be cancelled and rescheduled for a later date.
