Your balloon flight will have you floating over the world’s most liveable city, and enjoying breathtaking views of its sights. In the early morning light, you will view some of the famous buildings like the Eureka Tower, and iconic sporting venues like the MCG and Albert Park Racetrack, as the sun rises over the city skyline. Australian Wine Tour Company will then take you out to the Yarra Valley for your wine tour. Included are tutored tastings at 4 premium wineries, a superb winery restaurant lunch with wine, finishing the day Domaine Chandon for light tasting platters and a glass of sparkling wine.

Participant Guidelines

-Passengers MUST reconfirm their tour by contacting the duty pilot between 1830 to 1900 the evening before their flight on 0488 686 555.
-Wear clothes as for hiking, including sturdy shoes, warm socks and a cap, (feet can get wet and cold in the early morning dew), plus sunglasses if you wish. It will not be any colder in the air than on the ground.
-If your flight is cancelled due to bad weather the Wine tour will go ahead as normal. On the morning of the wine tour you MUST ring the Australian Wine Tour Company office on 1800 996 414 from 8.30 am to confirm which pick up point you will be using. You will have to make your own way to one of the 6 Australian Wine Tour Co. pick up points in Melbourne (advised at the time of booking).

- Cancellation outside of 7 days – No fee (rebook)

Weather Exceptions

Hot air ballooning is weather dependent and all passengers are asked to check in with the pilot the night before for a weather report. If the flight is cancelled due to inclement weather the winery tour will proceed as booked. Passengers will then need to contact Global Ballooning to reschedule the ballooning portion.
